RESOLUTION NO. 1359
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE REPORT OF THE 01 RECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
OF THE CITY OF GILROY ON THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS,
GUTTERS AND SIDEWALKS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE VII
OF THE GILROY CITY CODE, ASSESSING PARCELS OF PROPERTY FOR
THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION AND DETERMINATION OF PAYMENT OF
ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of Gilroy has hereto-
fore proceeded in accordance with Chapter 20, Article VII, of the Gilroy City Code
with construction of certain sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and has made his report
to the Council of said City of Gilroy on the costs of construction; and
WHEREAS, the 19th day of May, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Gi lroy, California, has been set as the
time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation of said Director of
Public Works, and notice of said hearing has been given in accordance with law
and the Ordinances of the City of Gilroy, and the Council noW having proceeded
to the hearing of said report and recommendation, and no protests having been
received, and the Council having duly considered the same and determined that
the said report should be adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following costs of construc-
tion are approved for assessment against the following parcels:
Assessor's Parcel 803-10-45, E. Puente, 231 South Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California $400.00
Assessor's Parcel 803-10-49, Mary Mirelez, 281 South Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, California $480.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said assessment shall each be paid in
five or ten equal annual installments with a minimum principal payment of One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year .r the remaining principal amount if less
than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) along with interest on the unpaid balance of
each to bear interest of six per cent (6%) per tax year in accord with the
following repayment schedules.
