RESOLUTION NO. 1387
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
RENAMING SEVENTH STREET BETWEEN MONTEREY STREET AND
RAILROAD STREET "OLD GILROY STREET", AND RENAMING
OLD GILROY STREET BETWEEN MONTEREY STREET AND THE
SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD "HORNLEIN COURT."
Upon recommendation of the Planning Commission, and
good cause appearing therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY:
That Seventh Street in the City of Gilroy between Monterey
Street and Railroad Street be renamed OLD GILROY STREET, and
That Old Gilroy Street between Monterey Street and the
Southern Pacific Railroad be renamed HORNLEIN COURT.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Official Map of the City
of Gilroy be amended accordingly.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1969, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BATREZ, DUFFIN, KENNEDY, PATE,
SILVA, WENTWORTH and GOODRICH
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
