RESOLUTION NO. 1421
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
EIGHTH STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1969-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution
No. 1393 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by
the City Council of said City on October 6, 1969 was $50,197.85
of which the City was to contribute $27,395.97, leaving a balance to
assessment of $22,801.88;
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said
estimate may be reduced to $ 40,082.40

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total assessment
is hereby reduced to $ 40,082.40
and. that each of the indi-
vidual assessments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the
difference between the original assessment and the new assessment.
