Resolution 1203 RESOLUTION NO. 1203 RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY TO THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION RELATING TO THE DETACHMENT OF TERRITORY FROM THE GILROY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DIS- TRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy; I. That it does hereby request the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission to approve the detachment of the territory described in "Exhibit A", attached hereto and made a part of this Reso- lution, from the Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District. 2. That the propose 1 is made plJrsuant to the DIstrict Reorganization Act of 1965. 3. That the territory proposed to be detached is uninhabited. 4. That it is desired that the proposed detachment provide for and be made subJect to the following terms and conditions; None. 5. That the reasons for this application are: The territory described in "Exhibit Nl has been annexed to the City of Gilroy. City is prepared to assume fire protection services in this ter- ritory. 6. That it is hereby requested that proceedings be taken for the detachment hereinabove proposed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution with the Executive Officer of the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission.
