RESOLUTION NO. 1216
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
LUCHESSA AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
, PROJECT NO. 1967-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution No.
1139 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by the
City Council of said City on September 5, 1967, as subsequently amended,
was $390,895.42 of which the City was to contribute $32,367.36, leaving
a balance to assessment of $358,528.06;
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said estimate
may be reduced to $ 316,176.01
, of which the City will contribute
$
28,683.90
, leaving a balance to assessment of $ 287,492. 11

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total assessment
is hereby reduced to $ 287,492. 11 and that each of the individual
assessments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the difference
between the original assessment and the new assessment.
