RESOLUTION NO. 1246
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
FOREST STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1963-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, that
I{HEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution
No. 1234 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by
the City Council of said City on February 19, 1968 was $64,931.56,
of which the City was to contribute $38,973.01, leaving a balance
to assessment of $25,958.55;
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said
estimate may be reduced to $ 60,015.17
, of which the City will
contribute $ 39,372.33
, leaving a balance to assessment of
$20,642.84
.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the total assessment
is hereby reduced to $ 60,015. 17
and that each of the individ-
ual assessments shall be reduced by its pro rata share of the
difference between the original assessment and the new assessment.
