RESOLUTION NO. 1257
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS
ON SALE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS
FOREST STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1968-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, that
1. The City Clerk of said City be, and she is
hereby, directed to call for bids for the sale or improvement
bonds to be issued pursuant to Resolution No. 1234 of
Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by this
Council on February 19, 1968. The Notice of Sale, in form
to be prepared by Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, shall be
given by the Clerk causing copies thereof to be mailed to the
various banks and bond houses interested in the purchase of
such bonds at least ten days before the date of sale of said
bonds. Said bids are to be received at 3:00 o'clock P.M. on
May 20, 1968, and will be referred to and considered by the
Council at its meeting at 8:00 o'clock P.M, on May 20, 1968,
2. The City will furnish the legal opinion of the
law firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo,
California, unqualifiedly approving the legality of the
proceedings and the issuance of said bonds.
