RESOLUTION NO. 1273
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING
MODIFICATION OF THE FREEWAY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF GILROY DATED SEPTEMBER 8, 1964,
RELATING TO STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 101 BETWEEN THE SOUTH CITY
LIMITS AND THE NORTH CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, on September 8, 1964, the State of Cal ifornia and the
City of Gilroy entered into a freeway agreement relating to State High-
way Route 101 between the south city limits and the north city 1 imits,
and
WHEREAS, the plan of said freeway has been modified to relocate
or delete certain roads in the vicinity of 6th Street - Gilman Road, and
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Publ ic
Works, Division of Highways, has requested that the City of Gilroy ap-
prove said modification by resolution, and
WHEREAS, said modifications have been approved by the Director
of Publ ic Works of the City of Gilroy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gil-
roy that the modifications, as shown on the exhibit map attached to the
original hereof, be and the same are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1968, by the following
vote:

Wentworth, and Goodrich.
NOES:
COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT:
