RESOLUTION NO. 1274
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT FOR GRANT TO ACQUIRE AND/OR DEVELOP
LAND FOR OPEN SPACE PURPOSES NO. CALIF. OSA-274(G)
BY AND BETWEEN CITY OF GILROY AND THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of
Gilroy as follows:
Section 1. The pending proposed Contract for Grant to Acquire
and/or Develop Land for Open-Space Purposes No. Calif. OSA-274(G)
is hereby in all respects approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Gilroy is hereby
author1zed and directed to execute Contract No. Calif. OSA-274(G)
in two (2) counterparts on behalf of the City of Gilroy and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to impress and
attest the official seal of the Public Body on each such counter-
part and to forward such counterparts to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development, for execution on behalf of
the Government together with such other documents relative
to the approval and execution of such counterparts as may
be required by the Government.
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED This 5th day of August, 1968,
by the following vote:
