RESOLUTION NOo 1300
RESOLUTION AMENDING RATES AND CHARGES
OF THE COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION
SYSTEM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gilroy that the
following schedule of rates and charges filed as required by Sections
24.81 to 24.86 of the Gilroy City Code are hereby approved pursuant
to Section 3 of Ordinance No. 779.
INSTALLATION CHARGES
Residential Outlets: $10.00 plus a $10.00 deposit for the
first outlet.
Additional Residential Outlets: $5.00 each.
Commercial Outlets: $10.00 plus a $10.00 deposit for the
first outlet; provided that in unusual circumstances installation
charges are to be determined on an individual basis, with rates to
be based on actual cost of labor and materials.
Additional Commercial Outlets: $5.00 each.
Deposits~ Deposits for cable service shall be returned to
customers when their accounts are closed and after deduction of any
unpaid service charges; provided that if the customer cannot be
located for six months after termination of service, the deposit
shall be forfeited.
MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGES
First Outlet, Residential and Commercial: $4.75 per month.
Additional Outlets, Residential and Commercial: $1.00 each
per month.
EXTENSION CHARGES
For unusual circumstances such as to install underground cable,
to install more than one hundred fifty (150) feet of cable from
service connection to subscriber, for extensions on present outlets,

to transfer outlets or cable to a different location on the same
premises, to install deluxe type outlet receptacles, or to prewire
multiple outlets on residential and commercial units, an additional
installation charge over that normally charged will be made on
the basis of actual cost of labor and materials. All easements
shall be furnished or paid for by subscriber.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1968, by the
