Resolution 1081 RESOLUTION NO. 1081 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FIXING THE TIME AND PIACE OF HEARING THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF THE PIANNING COMMISSION UPON APPLICATION OF GLORIA V. FRISONE TO REZONE PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF WAYIAND IAN6 AND BROADWAY FROM R-3 ZONE TO C-1 ZONE. WHEREAS, There has been filed with the Council of the City of Gilroy the report and recommendation of the Planning Commission of said City upon the application of Gloria V. Frisone to amend Zoning Ordinance No. 711 by re-c1assifying and placing in Zone C-1 District the following described premises in the City of Gilroy now in Zone R-3 District, to wit: PARCEL 1: ALL OF LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, in Block 6 North, Range 7 West, as shown on that certain Map entitled "Map of the Loupe, et a1, Northern Addition to the City of Gilroy", which map was filed for record in the office of the Recorder of ~be County of Santa Clara, State of California, on June 5, 1888, in Book D of Maps, at page 5. PARCEL 2: fORTION OF LOT 6, in Block 6 North, Range 7 West, as shown on that certain Map entitled "Map of the Loupe, et a1, Northern Addition to the City of Gilroy", which Map was filed for record in the offic e of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, on June 5, 1888, in Book D.of Maps, at page 5, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of Wayland Lane at the dividing line between Lots 5 and 6 in Block 6 North, Range 7 West, as said Lane, Lots, Block and Range are shown on the Map above referred to; rynning thence Easterly along the said dividng line between Lots 5 and 6 to the Easterly common corner thereof; running thence Southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 6, a distance of 20.00 feet; running thence Westerly and parallel with the said dividing line between Lots 5 and 6, to the said Easterly line of Wayland Lane; running thence Northerly along said last named 21.76 feet to theipoint of beginning. WHEREAS, in said report the Planning Commission has recommended that said Zoning Ordinance be amended by taking the premises from the R-3 District in which it is now located and placing the same in a C-O District, andnot in a C-1 District, combined with regulations of S Zone, and /(J 8 / <" WHEREAS, it is necessary that a hearing be held before the Council upon said report and recommendation of said Planning Commission, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the ~~b day of March, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, be and the same are hereby fixed as the time and place for the hearing of said report and recommendation of said planning commission and that notice of said hearing be given in the manner and for the period required by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy.
