RESOLUTION NO. 1094
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY PROCLAIMING SANTA CLARA
COUNTY SPRING ClEAN-UP WEEK.
WHEREAS, for the purpose of attempting to reduce fire waste and
beautify the City of Gilroy, the Council of the City of Gilroy finds and
determines that it is In the best Interests of the people of this City
and the preservation of thel r property to proclaim the week of May 7th
through 13, 1967 as a week for cleaning up all dangerous rubbIsh, junk,
newspapers and the like, so as to reduce the possibility of spontaneous
Ignition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the CouncIl of the City of
GIlroy In conjunction wIth Santa Clara County does hereby proclaim the
week of May 7th through 13, 1967 to be
SANTA CLARA COUNTY SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the CI ty of Gilroy, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, on this 20th day of March, 1967. by
the following vote:
