RESOLUTION NO. 1105
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED ACCUMULATION BUDGET
WHEREAS The City of Gilroy has entered into a cooperative agreement with
the Department of Publ ic Works, State of California for sharing the cost of
constructing traffic signals at the intersection of State Highway Route 152
and Church Street in the City of Gilroy;
WHEREAS the City has Section 186. I Funds available for expenditure on
Select System Streets in accordance with Section 186.6 of the Streets and Highways
Code and;
WHEREAS Section 186.6 of the Streets and Highways Code provides for the
extension of the accumulation period of 186. I Gas Tax Funds apportioned;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Counci I of the City of Gilroy
in accordance with said Section 186.6 does hereby approve the Proposed Accumulation
Budget wherein the remainder of the Section 186.1 gas tax apportionment for the
fiscal year 1964 - 1965 and $1,856.76 of the 1965 - 1966 Section 186. I gas tax
apportionment will be used to pay the City's share of the said project cost and;
BE IT FURTHER REZOLVED that the Director of Public Works is hereby
budget
authorized to submit said accumulation/along with a petition for extending the
Accumulation Budget period for Section 186. I funds to the Department of Public Works,
State of California for their approval and to sign same on behalf of the City.
