RESOLUTION NO. 1108
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS
BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNA-
TED IN THE PROCEEDINGS AS "HECKER PASS-MOREY AVE-
NUE ANNEXATION 66-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has initiated on
its own motion proceedings for the annexation to the said City
territory designated as "HECKER PASS-MOREY AVENUE ANNEXATION
66-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" described in Resolution No. 1090
adopted by the Council on the 20th day of March, 1967, in which
Resolution the 1st day of May, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock,
p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, No. 10 South
Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, was fixed as the time and
place for the hearing required by law on the proposal to annex
said property~ and
WHEREAS, notice of the hearing required by said Resolution
No. 1090 and by law, has been given, and the said Council has now
held the said hearing in accordance with the said notice and said
Resolution No. 1090, and no one appeared to protest against the
annexation of said territory and no protest of any kind was filed
or made against the said annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby found and
determined that no protest whatsoever was filed or made against
the said annexation, and the said Council does so declare.
PASSED AND ADOPTED immediately foTIowing the hearing mentioned
in this Resolution, this 1st day of May, 1967, by the following
vote:
