RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO GILROY l'Att..\I.NCORPORATE[j{
TO LOCATE A CAB STAND AT 37 SOUTH MONTEREY STREET.
WHEREAS, Mr. Tom Carr, owner and operator of the Gilroy yellow Cab
Company has submitted a petition to the City of Gilroy requesting a cab stand
location on the east side of Monterey Street in the block designated 100,
South; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carr has further submitted information supporting the
need for such a cab stand based upon past service demands in said 100 block,
South; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carr, by letter, states that he has obtained permission
from the manager and lessee of the hotel located at 37 South Monterey Street
to locate such a cab stand at that location:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY GRANT
permission to the Gi Iroy T.xR.'I'ncorporaited,/ to locate a cab stand within the
present passenger loading zone at 37 South Monterey Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Counci I of the City of Gi lroy this
15th day of May, 1967.
