RESOLUTION NO. 1143
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY
ADOPTING BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS a master agreement has been executed by the
City of Gilroy , hereinafter referred to as the
City, and the State Department of Public Works, Division of
Highways, hereinafter referred to as the Department, on
February 28 , 19 61, for expenditure of State-allocated
funds; and ---
WHEREAS a project statement has been prepared and
was submitted to the Department on August 18 , 19~
showing the estimated expenditures of such funds recommended
to be made during the 19~- 68 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS a budget approved by the Department on
September 1 , 19 67 has been presented to the City Council
in accordance with the project statement submitted by the City;
and
WHEREAS the City Council has considered said budget,
as approved by the Department, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council that said
budget be and is hereby adopted as the budget of expenditures
recommended to be made from such funds during the 19 67- 68 fiscal
yea r.
ADOPTED this 18th day of September ,19 67.
