RESOLUTION NO. 1162
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS BEEN
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED IN THE
PROCEEDINGS AS "CASTLEWOOD PARK ANNEXATION 67-1 TO THE
CITY OF GILROY".
WHEREAS, a petition has heretofore been filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Gilroy for the annexation of territory therein
described as "Castlewood Park Annexation 67-1 To The City of Gilroy";
and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did heretofore and on
the 23rd day of October, 1967, adopt Resolution No. 1151
determining
that the said annexation petition was signed by all of the owners of
property constituting the area proposed to be annexed, and fixing
Monday, the 6th day of November, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock pm.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, as the time and place for the hearing of said
petition; and
WHEREAS, notice of the said hearing has been given in accordance
with law{ and the hearing regularly continued at said time to November
20, 1967, and the said Council has now held the said hearing and no one
appeared to protest against the annexation of the said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered and the
Council does hereby find that no protests were filed or made against
the said annexation and the said Council does so declare.
PASSED AND ADOPTED immediately following the hearing mentioned
in the above Resolution, this 20th day of November, 1967, by the
following vote:
