RESOLUTION NO. 1186
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF GILROY AND CONSOER, TOWNSEND AND ASSOCIATES
AND W. J. HANNA AND SON, CONSULTING ENGINEERS
COVERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
FACILITIES TO TREAT ADDITIONAL FLOWS FROM THE
CITY OF MORGAN HILLl ETC. I AND AUTHORIZING THE
SIGNING OF SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF GILROY BY THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy is contemplating the construction
of Water Pollution Control Facilities to Treat Additional Flows
from the City of Morgan Hill as well as future flows from the ser-
vice area and has agreed I tentatively, to employ Consoer, Townsend
and AssOCiates, Consulting Engineers and W. J. Hanna & Son, Consul-
ting Engineersr as the engineers for so much of the project as set
forth in the agreement as is adopted by the City, the actual agree-
ment to depend upon the submission by said engineers to the City of
a form of agreement covering the said project, which is agreeable to
said City and said engineers have now presented to the Council of
said City a proposed written agreement between them and the City for
said work; and
WHEREAS I said proposed agreement has been reviewed by the Coun-
cil after a slight revision thereof and the Council has approved the
revised form now submitted and believes it should be entered into.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS COUNCIL that it shall
and does hereby, approve the said agreement and does further auth-
orize that the Mayor of the City execute the same on behalf of the
City.

4th day of December, 1967, by the fol-
lowing vote:
