RESOLUTION NO. 1188
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1139 ENTITLED "A
RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AND
OF INTENTIONII
LUCHESSA AVENUE IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1967-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that Resolution No. 1139 entitled IIA Resolution of Pr~liminary De-
termination and of Intentionll adopted by this Council on September
5, 1967, be, and the same ~s hereby, amended as follows:
1. That Section 13 of said Resolution be amended to refer
to the 'Engineer of Worl(' instead of IIlJity Engineer".
2. That Section 16 be added to said Resolution reading
as follows:
1116. It is intended by the City Council of said City
to enter into an agreement with the Southern Pacific Company,
which agreement will provide for the ownership by said Company of
a railroad drill and spur track in said City to be installed by
said Company, and for the providing of service to thE properties
in said area by said Company in accordance with its rates, rules
and regulations, and that said agreement shall become effective
after proceedings have been taken for the levy of assessments and
sale of bonds and funds are available to carry out its terms.1I
3. That SEction 17 be added to said Resolution reading
as follows:
"17. The estimated cost of the project is $390,895.42,
of which thE City will contribute the estimated amount of
$32,367.36, leaving an estimated amount of $358,528.06 to be
assessed."
