RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF !THE CITY OF GI LROY
SETTING TIME AND PLACE OF H:EF1RING OF THE REPORT AND
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNI~G COMMISSION OF SAID
CITY ON TTS OWN INITIATIVE TO REZONE A PORTION OF THE
THIRD SOUTHERN ADDITION TO TIlE CITY OF GILROYl SUCH
PORTION BEING THE AREA FRONT~NG MONTEREY HIGHWAY AND
INCLUDING THE SOUTHERN PACIFJ1C COMPANY RIGHT OF WAY
FROM SOUTH OF THE S & S WAREHOUSE PROPERTY TO LUCHESSA
LANEl FROM Rl (SINGLE FAMILY !RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO
M2 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRIdT
BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the public
hearing upon the rEport and recommendation of the Planning Commission
of said City on its own initiative to rezone a portion of the Third
Southern Addition to the City of Gilroy, such portion being the
area fronting Monterey Highway and including the Southern Pacific
Company right of way from south of the S & S warehouse property to
Luchessa Lane, from Rl (Single Family Residential) District to
M2 (Light Industrial) District, be set for Monday, the 21st day of
February, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 olclock, p.m., in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall at No.10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California.
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that not1ce of the said hearing be
given in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy
and the laws of the State of California
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1966, by the
following vote:
