RESOLUTION NO. 1011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROv REQUESTING THE
DIVISION OF HOUSING, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO ASSUME
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENFORCEMENT OF MOBILEHOMES AND
MOBILEHOMES PARK LAW
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy as
follows:
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 18010 of the Health and
Safety Code of the State of California, the City of Gilroy does hereby
request that the Division of Housing of the Department of Industrial
RelatIons of the State of California assume responsibility for the
enforcement of the provisions of the Mobilehomes and Mobilehomes Parks
Law contained in Part 2 of Division 13 of the Health and Safety Code,
consisting of Section 18000 to 18475 inclusive.
The City of Gilroy with its present staff does not feel that it
can adequately enforce the aforementioned provisions of the Health and
Safety Code therefore requests the Division of Housing to act as
enforcing agency.
The City Administrator is hereby directed to give written notice
of the adoption of this resolution to the said Division of Housing.
This resolution shall be effective upon the giving of said
notice.
