RESOLUTION NO.
1047
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS BEEN
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED IN THE
PROCEEDINGS AS "LlMAN-CARLYLE NO. 66-1 ANNEXATION TO
THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has heretofore and
on the 20th day of June, 1966, adopted Resolution No. 1022 declar-
ing the intention of the Council to initiate on its own motion pro-
ceedings to annex certain uninhabited territory therein designated
as "Liman-Carlyle No. 66-1 Annexation To The City of Gilroy. and
particulars describing the said territoryi and
WHEREAS, the said Council of the City of Gilroy did following
the adoption of the aforesaid Resolution and on the said 20th day
of June, 1966, did adopt Resolution No. 1023 in which, among other
things, it did fix Monday, the 1st day of August, 1966, at the hour
of 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, No. 10
South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for
the Public Hearing upon the proposal to annex said territory to the
said CitYi and
WHEREAS, ndtice of the said hearing has been given in accord-
ance with law, and the said Council has held the said hearing and
no protest against the said annexation was filed or made.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council does hereby find that no protest
was filed or made against the said annexation and the said Council
does so declare.
PASSED AND ADOPTED immediately following the hearing mentioned
in the above resolution, this 1st day of August, 1966, by the fol-
lowing vote:
