Resolution 1055 :l. ,; t ~ l: ,.. . ,. ,.dSo.'u,m'tlHNO'. 1&55 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY WITHDRAWING FROM THE GILROY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY UNDER THE DESIGNATION "PACHECO PASS-NINTH STREET ANNEXATION 66-1 TO THE C ITV OF GilROY". WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 5th day of July, 1966, been annexed to the City of G t1 roy, under the des i gnati on of "PACHECO PASS- NINTH STREET ANNEXATION 66-1 TO THE CITY OF GilROY" the following described property located in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit: BEING THE PORTION OF LAS ANIMAS RANCH lOT No. 44 as shown on Map No. 7 accompanying the Final Report of the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Suit, Action No. 5536 had in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Santa Clara, and being more particularly des- cribed as follows: "BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of Ninth Street with the original northeasterly limits of the City of Gilroy from which the most southerly corner of that certain parcel of land described in the deed from Mary S. Filice, a widow, to Joe F. Filice, recorded In Volume 6653 at page 269, Official Records of Santa Clara County bears N. 200 001 W. 30.00 feet along said City limits line, and running thence along said City limits N. 200 00' W. 676.04 feet to the intersection thereof with the northeasterly line of Old Gilroy Street or Pacheco Pass Highway, commonly known as both; thence along the north- easterly line of the Pacheco Pass Highway N. 890 541 E. 287.76 feet, S. 850 161 E. 25.08 feet, s. 750 361 E. 25.08 feet, S. 6SO 56' E. 25.08 feet, S. 560 161 E. 25.08 feet and S. 510 161 E. 25.08 feet and S. 510 301 E. 604.90 feet, more or less, to the intersection thereof with the centerline of Ninth Street prolonged northeasterly; thence along said centerline of Ninth Street S. 700 00' w. 662.96 feet to the point of beginning, and CONTAINING THEREIN 6.735 acres". and WHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy were, at the time of such annexation, included in and formed a part of the Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District, and the Council of the City of Gilroy desires that said territory so annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection district. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory hereinbefore descr i bed and so annexed to the City of G I 1 roy as "PACHECO PASS-N I NTH STREET ANNEXATION 66-1 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be and the same is hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District.
