RESOLUTION NO. 1057
RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL GIVING NOTICE OF APPLICATION
FOR A FRANCHISE UNDER ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 24
(COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVIS ION SYSTEM)
WHEREAS, An application has been made to the Council of the
City of Gilroy by FRANK CALIRI, BEN TSUDA and EDWIN DRISCOLL, JR.
for a franchise to install and operate in the City of Gilroy a
Community Antenna Television System under the provisions of
Article III of Chapter 24 (Ordinance No. 759) i and
WHEREAS, Section 24442 of the said Gilroy City Code,the same
being a part of said Article III of said Chapter 24 of said Code,
requires that notice that such an application has been filed for
such franchise shall be given by publication in the matter for the
period required by Section 24.43 of said Code by publication in a
newspaper of general circulation in the said City of Gilroy at
least twice, the first pUblication to be not later than the 10th
day immediately preceding the day of hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that

Street, Gilroy, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as
the time and place for the public hearing upon the application for
the said franchise, at which hearing all persons desiring to be
heard thereupon will be given reasonable opportunity to present
evidence or otherwise be heard in favor of or in opposition to
the granting of said franchise to said applicants, reference
being hereby made to the said application for full information
respecting such application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause this
Resolution to be published in a newspaper of general circulation

to be not later than the 10th day immediately preceding the
said date of hearing.
