RESOLUTION NO. 884
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS
BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED
IN THE PROCEEDINGS AS "ELEVENTH WESTERN ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, a petition has heretofore been filed with the City
C1erk of the City of Gilroy for the annexation of territory
therein described as "Eleventh Western Addition to the City of
Gilroy"; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did heretofore and
on the 21st day of December, 1964, adopt Resolution No. 881, deter-
mining that the said annexation petition was signed by all of the
owners of property constituting the area proposed to be annexed,
and fixing Monday, the 4th day of January, 1965, at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and
place for the hearing of said petition; and,
WHEREAS, notice of the said hearing has been given in
accordance with law, and the said Council has now held the said
hearing, and no one appeared to protest against the annexation
of the said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered and
the Council does hereby find that no protests were filed or made
against the said annexation and the said Council does so declare~
PASSED AND ADOPTED immediately following the hearing mentioned
in the above Resolution, this 4th
day of January, 1965, by the
