RESOLUTION NO. ~
RESOLUTION OF THE COUN-':::IL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING
SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF REAL ~ROPERTY TO GORDON FAROTTE
WHEREAS, t:ne City of Gilroy is the owner in fee simple title
of the following described premises located in said city, to wit:
LOT No. l' of Tract 3770, Gilroy Gymkhana Grounds, as
shown upon the map thereof, filed under Serial No. 2717033
on the 5th day of october, 1964, in the office of the county
Recorder of santa Clara county, state of California
and
WTIEREAS, the said property is non-productive, is vacant land,
and it is not being used for any municipal purpose and the city of
Gilroy does not require said premises for any future municipal
purpose and said premises should be sold and the proceeds used for
municipal purposes as the council may direct~ and
\~EREAS, the sum of $7,900.00 has been offered for said
property by GORDON FAROTTE, which amount is deemed by the Council
to be'the full value of the said property and it is not believed
that a larger amount can be obtained by the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said premises be sold
to the said GORDON FAROTTE and that a conveyance of said premises
be executed on behalf of the city by its Mayor, and delivered to the
said GORDON FAROTTE, upon the payment of the said sum of $7,900.00.
