RESOLUTION No. 93.1.5
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT NO MAJORITY PROTEST HAS
BEEN MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED
IN THE PROCEEDINGS AS "MILLER AVENUE ANNEXATION
NO. 1 TO THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has initiated
on its own motion proceedings for the annexation to the said
city territory designated as "Miller Avenue Annexation No. 1
to the City of Gilroy" described in Resolution No. 913 adopted
by the Council on the 20th day of April, 1965, in which Resolu-
tion the 7th day of June, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, California, was fixed as the time and place for
the hearing required by law on the proposal to annex said
property; and
WHEREAS, notice required by said Resolution No. 913 and by
law of the said hearing has been given, and the said Council
has now held the said hearing in accordance with the said notice
and said Resolution No. 913, and no one appeared to protest
against the annexation of said territory and no protest of any
kind was filed or made against the said annexation;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby found and
determined that no protest whatsoever was filed or made against
the said annexation, and the said Council does so declare.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, immediately following the hearing
mentioned in this Resolution, this 7th day of June, 1965, by
the following vote:
