RESOLUTION NO. 942
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FIXING
TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION UPON THE PROPOSAL TO AMEND
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY ESTABLISHING
THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY TO BE INCLUDED IN R3X
(HIGH DENSITY) ZONE
vffiEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has
heretofore adopted a resolution declaring its intention to initiate
proceedings for the amendment of the zoning Ordinance of the city of
Gilroy by including ln R3X Zone, as the same has heretofore been
established under the zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, certain
described territory set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and
made a part of this resolution; and
\~EREAS, the said Planning Commission has held a public
hearing upon the said proposed amendment to amend the zoning
Ordinance and after giving notice of said hearing! in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy Z ld of the law of
the state of California, and after said hearing did file its report
with the city Council, in which it recommends that the said Zoning
Ordinance be amended by including in said R3X zone the premises
hereinbefore referred to and described in said Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Council hold a public hearing
upon the said proposed amendment and the report and recommendation
of the said Planning Commission thereon,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Monday, the 19th day of
Ju ly , 1965, at the hour of 8 0 I clock, p.m., in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall at No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California, be and the same is hereby given as the time and place
for hearing the said report and recommendation of the said Planning
Commission upon the said proposed amendment to the zoning Ordinance
of the City of Gilroy, and that notice of the said hearing be given
in accordance with the said Zoning Ordinance and the law of the state

Beginning at point of intersection of the easterly line of Hanna Street
with the southerly line of First Street; thence southerly on the easterly
line of Hanna Street to the southerly line of Second Street; thence easterly
on the southerly line of Second Street 150.00 feet to the center of the alley
between Hanna and Church Streets; thence southerly along the center line of
the alley between Hanna and Church Streets to the southerly line of Sixth
