RESOLUTION NO. 972
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF AGREEMENTS WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR ESTABLISHMENT AND PER CAPITA GRANTS RELATING TO THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY
Ll BRARY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, on June I, 1964, the Gilroy Public Library of the City of
Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, entered into agreements with
the State Librarian of the State of Cal ifornia for an establishment grant, No.
2578, to the Santa Clara County Free Library System; and
WHEREAS, said original grants have been received, and it has now
become necessary to enter into amended agreements for the purpose of receiving
further grants as provided therein; and
WHEREAS, the State Librarian of the State of Cal ifornia has pre-
sented said amended agreements to this City Council for approval and execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council of the City of
Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, approves said amendments
and hereby authorizes its Chief Librarian to execute said amended agreements
numbered 2578 to receive further establishment and per capita grants.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Gilroy this
18th day of October, 1965, by the following vote:
