RESOLUTION NO. 976
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
SANTA CLARA FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, on February 23, 1965, the City of Gilroy entered into an
agreement with the County of Santa Clara for receiving and impounding all
animals and fowl del ivered to the City by any and all County officers or
residents of the unincorporated area of the County of Santa Clara; and
WHEREAS, it has now become necessary to enter into an amended
agreement as provided therein; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has presented said amended
agreement to this Council for approval and execution.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of the City
of Gilroy, approves said amendment and hereby authorizes its Mayor to
execute said amended agreement for Animal Shelter Control services ren-
dered to said County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
this 18th day of October, 1965, by the following vote:
