RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
WITHDRAWING FROM THE GILROY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF GILROY UNDER THE DESIGNATION "EIGHTH
WESTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 20th day of April,
1964, been annexed to the City of Gilroyo under the designation
of "EIGHTH WESTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROY", the following
described property located in the County of Santa Clara, State
of California, to wit:
BEING a portion of Lot 16 as shown on map entitled
"Henry Miller1s Subdivision of Las Animas Ranch Lot
23"0 which map is recorded in Book "H" of Maps at
page 5, Records of Santa Clara County 0 California,
and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the line common
to Lots 15 and 16 with the westerly line of Wren
Avenue (shown as Avenue "H" on said Map) and running
thence along the westerly line of Wren Avenue N. 10
OO~ E. 534.60 feet; thence parallel with the line
common to Lots 15 and 16 N. 890 oot W. 693.00 feet to
a point in the line common to Lots 16 and 21; thence
along the line common to Lots 16 and 21 S. 10 00' W.
534.60 feet to the corner common to Lots 15, 16, 20
and 21; thence along the line common to Lots 15 and
16 S. 890 00' E. 693.00 feet to the point of beginning,
and CONTAINING THEREIN 8.505 acres of land.";
and
WHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy
were, at the time of such annexation, included in and formed a
part of the Gilroy Rural Fire Protection Districto and the
Council of the City of Gilroy desires that said territory so
annexed be withdrawn from said fire protection districto
NOW, THEREFOREr BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory herein-
before described and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "EIGHTH
WESTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be, and the same is
hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District.
