RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING OF REPORT AND
RECOMMENDATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION UPON APPLI-
CATION OF WOODSIDE HOMES, INC., TO REZONE FROM
Rl TO Cl COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TWO ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF HECKER PASS
HIGHWAY
BE IT RESOLVED that Monday, the 6th day of July, 1964,
at the hour of 8 otclock, p.m., in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall, at No.lO South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, Cali-
fornia, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and the
place for the hearing of the application of Woodside Homes, Inc.,
to the Planning Commission that the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Gilroy be amended by taking from Rl Zone and placing
the same in a Cl Commercial Zone the following described
premises located in the City of Gilroy, to wit:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe in the southerly line of
the Hecker Pass Highway (formerly Bodfish Mill Road)
at the northerly corner common to Lots 5 and 6 as
shown on said map, and running thence along the line
common to Lots 5 and 6 S. 40 35t W. 537.25 feet to a
1" iron pipe; thence N. 880 45t E. 163.00 feet to a
1" iron pipe; thence N. 40 35t E. 537.25 feet to a 1"
iron pipe in the southerly line of the Hecker Pass
Highway; thence along said southerly line S. 880 45t W.
163.00 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
2.000 acres of land.;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of the time and
place of hearing of said application be given in accordance with
the said Zoning Ordinance and the law of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 1964, by the
