Resolution 849 RESOLUTION NO. 849 A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AND OF I~JTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS. PARKING DISTRICT NO. PROJECT NO. 64-1 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California, that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that it is the intention of said Council to make the following changes and modi- fications in the proceedings under Resolution No. 837 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention adopted by said Council on June 15, 1964; Eliminate the acquisition and improvement of Parcel A. Relocate Parcel B to a parcel 80 feet wide and 163 feet long, 60 feet south of Martin Street on the west side of the alley west of the railroad. Eliminate the acquisition and improvement of Parcel E. Eliminate from the assessment district all of the lands therein lying south of Sixth Street. Reduce the estimated cost of the project to $150,000.00. All of said changes and modifications shall be made either on the face of the report or by filing an amendment thereto. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 31st day of August, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers, 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said Council will consider the matter of making said changes and modifications and whether or not the public interest, convenience and necessity require such changes and modifications, and hearing all persons interested therein. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be p~blished twice in the Gilroy Evening Dispatch, a newspaper of general circulation published in said City, and the newspaper in which the Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Preliminary Determina- tion and of Intention was published; to cause a copy thereof to be posted on the City Hall Bulletin Board; and to cause a copy thereof to be mailed to each owner whose name appeared on the last equalized -1- 949 ... - - I assessment roll as owner of real property within said district, or as known to the Clerk, whose property is proposed to be added in the assessment district or the assessment which is proposed to be increased. The first publication and the posting and mailing shall be completed at least ten days before the date of hearing.
