RESOLUTION NO. 861
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING
A SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara,
has adopted a resolution dated August 19, 1963, indicating its desire to receive
funds made available by the Collier - Unruh Local Transportation Development
Act; and
WHEREAS, in order to accumulate the matching credits required by S & H
Code Section 186.5 it is necessary that the City modify its Select System of
City Streets in accordance with the provisions of Section 186.3 of the Streets
and Highways Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy that
that certain map dated September 21,1964, entitled [lMap of Select System of
City Streets & Highways, City of Gilroy, Californiall and the accompanying report
entitled nSelect System Report, City of Gilroy, September 21, 1964,11 which have
been prepared for consideration of the California Highway Commission, copies of
which are on file in the offices of the City Clerk and City Engineer and incor-
porated herein as if set out in full herein are hereby approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three (3) copies of this resolution be filed
with said map and report in the office of the Department of Public Works, State
of California, through the District Office of the Division of Highways.
The City Council of the City of Gilroy hereby petitions the California High-
way Commission to approve the aforementioned map and report.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21stday of September, 1964, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Duffin,Eckard,Goodrich,Jordan,Wentworth, and
Petersen.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
