RESOLUTION NO. 737
RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
APPLICATIONS OF M. A. CHIESA AND EMERLINDA CHIESA TO RE-
ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF GILROY NOW IN ZONE
"E" DISTRICT TO "e-l" DISTRICT.
BE IT RESOLVED that the application of M. A. Chiesa and
Emerlinda Chiesa 1;.0 rezone from Zone "E" District to "C-l"
District, the premises hereinafter described and the report and
recommendation of the Planning Commission of the city of Gilroy,
on March 4, 1963 ;
upon said application/be heard before the Council/at the Council
meeting place in the City Hall, 10 south Rosanna Street, Gilroy,

California, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day and that
notice of said hearing be given in accordance with the law and
ordinances of the city of Gilroy. The said premises above
referred to for which the said rezoning has been applied for are
situated in the city of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, and are described as follows:
BEING a portion of Lots, 2, and 3 of "Henry Miller's
subdivision of Las Animas Ranch Lot 23," as shown on Map
thereof recorded in Book "H" of Maps at page 5, Records of
Santa Clara County, California, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly line of
When Avenue with the northerly line of Bodfish Mill Road
(now Hecker Pass Highway) as shown on said Map and running
thence along the easterly line of Wren Avenue N. 00 47' E.
473.90 feet; thence S. 890 15' E. 1002.00 feet, thence N.
800 59' 40" E. 230.00 feet to apoint in the northeasterly
line of said Lot 1i thence along the northeasterly line of
said Lot 1 S. 220 15' E. 555.97 feet, more or less to the
intersection thereof with the northerly line of Hecker Pass
Highway; thence along the northerly line of the Hecker Pass
Highway N. 890 15' W. 1425.60 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning, and
CONTAINING approximately 14. acres, more or less."
Reference is hereby had to the maps and general zoning
ordinance of the City of Gilroy.
