RESOLUTION NO. 762
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING A PETTY CASH FUND IN THE LIBRARY
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS; it has been recommended by the Arthur Young
and Company, auditors for the City of Gilroy, that all
revenues received by the Gilroy Public Library shall be
deposited in the Library Fund of the City of Gilroy; and,
WHEREAS; the Library and Culture Commission has been
authorized in Section 908h of the Charter of the City of
Gilroy to "Purchase and Acquire Personal Property, Supplies
and Equipment, Subject, However, To the Limitations of the
Budget for Such Purposes."; and,
WHEREAS; it has been found necessary by the Library
Department to pay cash for postage and other sundry supplies
and services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a petty cash
fund of $20.00 be established and maintained for use by
the Library Department for postage and other sundry
supplies and services.
