Resolution.No. 595
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILF?OY ALLOCATING THE VARIOUS
CLASSES OF POSITIONS IN THE CITY SERVICE TO APPROPRIATE RANGES IN THE
BASIC PAY PLAN, AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION III OF ORDINANCE NO. 567
ADOPTED ON MARCH 3, 1958.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Personnel Commission that
the prevailing wage rates for public and private employment in the area
have risen, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to maintain City salaries
on a relatively competitive level with the salaries paid to public and
private employees in the area, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following pay ranges be applied to the
several classes of positions in the City Service.

The effective date of this Resolution for the above mentioned classes
shall be Januarv 1. 1961
The following classes shall maintain the salary level as set forth
in Resolution No.v554 until completion of the salary survey being present-
ly conducted by the Personnel Commission.
