CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING DRAINAGE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL OR
MASTER PIAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
has heretofore adopted a resolution which has been certified to
the Council of the City of Gilroy approving and adopting a Drain-
age Element of the General or Master Plan for the City of Gilroy
which said plan consists of a map entitled "GENERAL PIAN OF THE
CITY OF GILROY DRAINAGE ELEMENT" and which map shows
together with a report entitled "REPORT ACCOMPANYING THE DRAIN-
AGE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PIAN OF THE CITY OF GILROY" which was
prepared by the City Engineer~ and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has hereto-
fore by resolution fixed Monday, the 6th day of March, 1961 at
the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
in the Gilroy Municipal Auditorium located at 6th and Rosanna
Streets in the City of Gilroy as the time and place for the
hearing of said General Plan of the City of Gilroy Drainage Ele-
ment, and notice of the said hearing has been given in the man-
ner and for the period required by law, and the said matter com-
ing on regularly to be heard at the said time and place fixed
therefor in the said notice and above specified, and the Council
having duly proceeded to hear the said matter,
And no one anoearing to ob1ect to said nroooserl Dr8in~~e
Element. and
WHEREAS, the said Council has, after said hearing,
fully considered the matter of adopting the said General Plan

of the city of Gilroy Drainage Element and desires to adopt
the same as the Drainage Element of the General Plan of the
city of GilroYi
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of
the City of Gilroy does hereby adopt and approve the said
Drainage Element of the General or Master Plan in accordance
with the provisions of Title 7, Chapter 3, Article 8 of the
Government Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1961 by
the following vote:
