RESOLUTION NO. 610
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FOUR NEW FUNDS TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS OFF-SITE
STORM DRAIN FUNDS A, B, C, AND 0, IN CONFORMITY WITH AND AS A PART OF THE
DRAINAGE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL OR MASTER PLAN, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF
MONEYS IN WESTERN AND CENTRAL OFF-SITE STORM DRAIN FUNDS AND THE ABOLISHMENT
OF SAID FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Gi Iroy has heretofore adopted ordinances requiring
the payment of fees to the City by developers of real property to provide a
fund to be used by said City in connection with the construction and installa-
tion of off-site storm drainage facilities; and has heretofore by Resolution
No. 578 established two funds designated as IlWestern Off-Site Storm Drain
Fund" and "Central Off-Site Storm Drain Fundll into which funds fees collected
for the respective area covered by each fund shall be placed; and
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been collected and placed in said "Wes-
tern Off-Site Storm Drain Fundll the sum of $8,649.56 which is now in said
fund, and there has been collected and placed in said "Central Off-Site Storm
Drain Fund" the sum of $1,515.00, which is now in said fund; and
WHEREAS, since the establishment of said funds proceedings have been
instituted for the adoption of a Master or General Plan for the development
of the City and a Drainage Element of said General Plan has been adopted
which establishes four areas or zones for Off-Site Storm Drains which areas
are designated and described on the map and in the report constituting said
Drainage Element as areas A, B, C, and D, two of which areas, to wit: IIA"
and "CII correspond in a general way with the zones covered by said Western
and Central Off-Site Storm Drain Funds heretofore mentioned but are yet not
entirely the same premises and the designation of said funds and the areas
to which they apply should be changed to correspond with the description and
designation of the areas as shown on said Drainage Element Map and Report,
and
WHEREAS, no fees or moneys have as yet been collected for said areas
"B" and "D" as designated and described in said Drainage Element;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved and it is hereby ordered as follows:
I. That four new Off-Site Storm Drain Funds be and they are hereby
established to be designated and known, respectively, as Off-Site
Storm Drain Funds A, B, C, and D.
2. That in said Off-Site Storm Drain Fund "A" shall be placed all
moneys heretofore collected and now on hand t0talling $8,649.56 in
said Western Off-Site Storm Drain Fund arid all moneys hereafter col-
lected for Off-Site Storm Drainage for the territory described and
designated as area "A" on said map and report of said Di-ainage
Element of the said Master Pian.
3. That in said Fund IICII shall be placed al I moneys heretofore col-
lected and now on hand totalling $1,515.00 in said Central Off-Site
Storm Drain Fund and all moneys hereafter collected for off-site
storm drainage of the territory described and designated as Area "C"
on said map and report of said Drainage Element of the said Master
Plan.
4. That in said Off-Site Storm Diain Fund liB" shall be placed all
moneys collected for Off-site storm drainage for the territory des-
cri bed and des i gnated as Area liB" on the aforesa i d map and report of
said Drainage Element of the Master Plan.
5. That in said Off-Site Storm Drain Fund "D" shal I be placed all
moneys collected for off-site storm drainage of the territory des-
cribed and designated as Area "~I on said map and report of said

6. That the moneys placed in and becoming a part of each of said
four new funds hereby established shall be used for the area covered
by and applying to each fund respectively.
7. That upon the transfer of the moneys now in said Western and
Central Off-Site Storm Drain Funds as hereinbefore directed said
funds shall stand as abolished without further act of this Council.
