RESOLUTION NO. 624
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING GRANTING OF USE PERMIT TO FIRST BAPTIST
CHURCH TO USE PREMISES AT THE SOUTH-WEST CORNER OF 6th
AND HANNA STREEST FOR CONSTRUCTING AN ADDITION TO THE
CHURCH BUILDING.
WHEREAS, FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, a religious organization,
had made application before the Planning Commission of the
City of Gilroy for a use permit authorizing it to use the
premises located at the South-West corner of 6th and Hanna
Streets, Gilroy, California, for the construction of an
addition to the present church building on said premises; and,
WHEREAS, the said Planning Commission has given notice
of the hearing of said application, as required by the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, and after such hearing
has made its report to the council, reporting, finding and
recommending that the said application be granted; and,
WHEREAS, the said report has now been presented to
and duly considered by the council and the said council believes
that said report of said Planning Commission should be approved
and the said use permit be issued.
NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said report
of the said Planning Commission upon the said application
be approved and confirmed and that a use permit be issued to
the said applicant for the purposes set forth in said application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th day of May, 1961, by the
following vote:
