RESOLUTION NO. 667
RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL APPROVING MAP OF LAS ANIMAS ESTATES UNIT
NO. 1 TRACT NO. 3106 UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS THE DONALD L. STONE ORGANIZATION, the owner or developer of the
tract hereinafter mentioned had presented to the Council a final Map or Plat
of LAS ANIMAS ESTATES UNIT NO. 1 TRACT NO. 3106, and,
WHEREAS, the Ordinances and Resolutions heretofore adopted by the
Council of the City of Gilroy require that before any final Map or Plat of any
subdivision of the sight be approved by the Counci 1 that the owner or developer
shall agree in writing to cause to be constructed, installed and completed,
certain improvements consisting of streets, high-ways or public ways and sewer
facilities which are a part of or appurtenant to the subdivision, including
the necessary rolling, grading and paving of streets, construction and instal-
lation of curbs, sidewalks and gutters, catchbasins, sewer lines, water pipe-
lines, culverts, on-site and off-site storm drains, sanitary sewers, street
lighting, street signs, fire hydrants, fire alarm boxes and trees, in accordance
with and as required by plans and specifications for any or all of said improv~
ments and certain standards which are on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Gilroy and to furnish a surety bond to the City in the amount
which the City Engineer has determined to be the reasonable cost of furnishing
and installing all the aforesaid improvements and facilities, except off-site
drainage, and to deposit with the City of Gilroy the amount estimated to be the
cost of said off-site drainage and the City Engineer has submitted to the
Council an estimate of $70,000.00 as the cost of said improvements and facilities,
excepting off-site drainage, and the sum of $3,337.98 as the cost of the said
off-site drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the
said Map or Plat of said subdivision be approved and that the proper officials
of the City of Gilroy be, and they are hereby authorized to Issue a Certificate
or other writing approving the same upon the prior execution of an agreement in
the form customarily used by the City of Gilroy in such cases in wh,l-ch the said

subdivider or owner agrees to furnish and install all of the facilities and
improvements hereinbefore mentioned in this Resolution and agrees to furnish
a bond of an approved surety compano/ in the said sum of $70,000.00 conditioned
upon the furnishing and installing of all of said improvements and facilities
with the exception of off-site drainage and with payment to the City of Gilroy
of the sum of $3,337.98, the estimated cost of off-site drainage, in cash and
upon fulfilling said conditions the said Map or Plat shall stand approved as
presented.
