RESOLUT ION NO. 669
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FIXING
TIME OF HEARING REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION THAT THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY BE AMENDED BY
ORGINALLY ZONING THE SECOND SOUTHERN ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF GILROY AS ZONE "D"
WHEREAS, the City planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
has proposed and initiated proceedings to the end that the premises
known as Second Southern Addition to the City of Gilroy be originally
zoned as Zone or District "D" and has caused to be submitted and
filed with the Clerk of the City of Gilroy its report upon said
proposal which included a recommendation that the said premises
be placed in Zone or District liD" as the same are designated in
the Zoning Ordinance to the city of Gilroy: and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a hearing be held before the
Council upon said proposed amendment,
NOW/ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 19th day of February,
1962, at the hour of 8:00 otclock P.M. in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, be
and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing the
said report and recommendation of said Planning Commission upon
said proposal:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Notice of the said hearing be
given as required by law and the ordinances of the City of
Gilroy.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1962, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS :Jordan,Petersen,Quarti rol i ,Wentworth, and
Sanchez.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Duff in, and Goodr i ch
