RESOLUTION NO. 674
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ALLOCATING
THE VARIOUS CLASSES OF POSITIONS IN THE CITY SERVICE TO
APPROPRIATE RANGES IN THE BASIC PAY PLAN AS PROVIDED FOR
IN SECTION III OF ORDINANCE NO. 567 ADOPTED ON MARCH 3, 195$.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Personnel Commis-
sion that the prevailing wage rates for public and private
employment in the area have risen, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to maintain
City salaries on a relatively competitive level with the
salaries paid to public and private employees in the area,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following pay ranges be applied
to the several classes of positions in the City Service.
