RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION
OF PLANNING COMMISSION AFTER ITS HEARING ON ITS PROPOSAL THAT PRECISE
PLAN LINES BE ADOPTED FOR THAT PORTION OF THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN EXTENDING FROM TENTH AND CHURCH STREETS IN THE
CITY OF GILROY TO NINTH AND MONTEREY STREETS AND THENCE ALONG NINTH
STREET FROM MONTEREY STREET TO THE EASTERLY CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF GILROY.
WHEREAS I the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has proposed
the adoption of Precise Plan Lines for that portion of the circulation
element of the General plan of the City of Gilroy extending from Tenth
and Church Streets in a diagonal direction to Ninth and Monterey
Streets and thence along Ninth Street from Monterey Street to the
Easterly City Limits of the City of Gilroy, and have held a hearing
upon said proposal in accordance with the Ordinance of the City of
Gilroy and Law, on the 1st day of March, 1962, and after such hearing,
has submitted its report to the Council of the said City of Gilroy
recommending that said Precise Plan Lines be adopted as a part of the
said circulation element of the General Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the said Precise Plan Lines are described and shown on a
map and report of the City Engineer of the City of Gilroy, designated,
"CITY OF GILROY CIRCUIATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN - OFFICIAL
PLAN LINES FOR NINTH STREET" i and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a public hearing be held before the
Council of the City of Gilroy upon the said report and recommendation
of said Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 19th day of March, 1962, at
the hour of 8:00 O'clock P. M. in the Council Chambers of the City
of Gilroy, at No. 10 Rosanna street, Gilroy, California, be and the
same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing said proposal
of the Planning Commission and its report and recommendation thereon,
and that notice of said hearing be given in accordance with law.
