RESOLUTION NO. 703
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE REPORT OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
GILROY PROPOSING A PLAN FOR THE CITY OF GILROY AS SHOWN UPON
THE MAP DESIGNATED AS THE "GENERAL PIAN GILROY, JUNE, 1962 II
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has
heretofore proposed the adoption by the City of Gilroy of a General
Land Use Plan in accordance with and as shown upon a plat or map on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Gilroy, designated
as "General Plan Gilroy, June, 1962;" and
WHEREAS, the said Planning Commission has held hearings in
accordance with law upon the said proposal to adopt the said Land
Use Plan and has made its report to the Council of said City of
Gilroy in which it recommends that said proposed plan be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has heretofore fixed
the 4th day of September, 1962, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Gilroy, California, as the
time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation of
said planning Commission and notice of the said hearing has been
given in accordance with law and the Ordinances of the City of Gilroy
and the Council now having proceeded to the hearing of the said
report and recommendation and having duly considered the same and
determined that the said report should be adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said proposed General
Plan for the City of Gilroy as described upon the aforesaid map or
plat designated as "General Plan Gilroy, June, 1962" be and the same
is hereby adopted as the General Land Use Plan for the City of Gilroy.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 1962, by the
following vote:
