RESOLUTION NO 710
RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING REPORT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE
PROPOSAL FOR ADOPTION OF PRECISED PIAN LINES FOR
THE EASTERLY EXTENSION OF 10th STREET, FROM
MONTEREY STREET TO THE PACHECO PASS ROAD AS A
PART OF THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PIAN
FOR THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
has made a report to the Council on the proposal to adopt
precised plan lines for the easterly extension of lOth Street,
from Monterey Street to the Pacheco Pass Roadg in which report
said commission recommends the adoption of said plan lines, and;
WHEREAS, the said proposed precised plan lines are
described and shown on a map and report of the City Engineer
of the City of Gilroy, designated as City of Gilroy Circulation
Element of the General Plan, Off}cial Plan Lines for 10th Street, Santa
Clara County, Californi9, October 1962,
and;
WHEREAS, it is necessary for a hearing to be held before
the Council upon the said recommendation and report of the
said Planning Commission, and that this Council fix a date for
such hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Monday, the 19th
day of November, 1962, at the hour of 8:00 61clock p.m., in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall at No. 10 South Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, California; be, and the same is hereby fixed
as the time and place of the hearing before the Countil upon the
said proposal for the adoption of said official plan lines and
that notice of the said hearing be given in accordance with the
ordinance of the City of Gilroy, including the official plan
line ordinance and with the provisions of the Government Code

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the said hearing be given

to the Santa Clara County Planniri'g I and the Board of Supervisors of Santa
Clara County, forthwith;
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1962, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Duffin,Goodrich,Jordan,Quartiroli ,and
Sanchez.
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
