RESOLUTION NO. 715
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 709 ADOPTING
OFFICIAL PIAN LINES FOR THE NORTHERLY EXTENSION OF
CHURCH STREET
WHEREAS, the Council did on the 4th day of November, 1962
adopt Resolution No. 709 approving and establishing Official Plan
Lines for the Northerly Extension of Church Street from Welburn
Avenue to a point 160.58 feet north of Liman Avenue, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the Council may adopt Official
Plan Lines by either resolution or by ordinance but that the
Official Plan Line Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, by inference
requires that Official Plan Lines be adopted by Ordinance rather
than resolution and that said Resolution No. 709 should be rescinded
for the reason that the Council is now about to pass an ordinance
establishing said Official Plan Lines for the said portion of said
street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said Resolution No.
709 be rescinded and declared to be of no effect for t he reason
aforesaid.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 1962~ by the
following vote:
