RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 4
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE THE 10 FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT CROSSING THE REAR YARDS OF LOTS 12, 13, 15, 16, 17
AND 18 OF TRACT 6012 MESA ROAD SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, in the City of Gilroy the 10 foot public utility
easement crossing the rear yards of Lots 12, 13, 15, 16, 17
and 18 of Tract 6012 Mesa Road Subdivision is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes and should be
vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Gilroy that it does hereby declare its intention to
vacate the 10 foot public utility easement crossing the rear
yards of Lots 12, 13, 15, 16,17 and 18 of Tract 6012, Mesa Road
Subdivision.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
published and said street posted as required in the Street
Vacation Act of 1941, under which this proceeding is instituted,
and the 20th day of February, 1979 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. or as
soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California,
is hereby designated as the time and place at which said City
Council shall hear any and all persons interested in or who may
object to the proposed vacation.
One publication of said notice shall be made in the
Gilroy dispatch a newspaper published in the City of Gilroy, at
least ten (10) days prior to the time of hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1979, by
the following vote:
