RESOLUTION NO. 79-16
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AFFIRMING ON APPEAL RESOLUTION NO. 79-13 OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING A ZONE CHANGE REQUEST
FROM R2 TO R3 ON SEVEN LOTS IN THE FILBRO SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, FILBRO DEVELOPMENT CO. has filed an appeal in due
form from Resolution No. 79-13 of the Planning Commission of the City
of Gilroy denying a zone change request from R2 to R3 on seven lots
in Tract No. 6251, and notice of the hearing of said appeal has been
given in the manner required by law and the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Gilroy, and
WHEREAS, the said hearing on the appeal has been held on March
19, 1979. at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at
7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, and evidence was submitted
upon the said application and appeal from the findings of the
Planni~g Commission, the City Council finds:
(1) ~r'he findings of the Planning Commission are hereby approved;
and
(2) The Planning Commission did not err in denying the zone
change request.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 79-13 of the
Planning Commission is hereby affirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of March, 1979, by the following
