RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 40
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY HITHDRAHING FROM
THE GILROY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT TERRITORY THEREIN RECENTLY ANNEXED
TO THE CITY OF GILROY UNDER THE DESIGNATION flPACHECO PASS ANNEXA-
TION 79-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, there has heretofore and on the 21st day of May,
1979, been annexed to the City of Gilroy, under the designation
of "PACHECO PASS ANNEXATION 79-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" the fo110w-
ing described property located in the County of Santa Clara, State
of California to wit:
All the real property situated in the County of Santa
Clara, State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of Pacheco Pass
Highway No. 77-7 Annexation to the City of Gilroy,
northeasterly 650 feet more or less to the southwester-
ly corner of Pacheco Pass Highway No. 75-2 Annexation;
thence along the southwesterly line of the last said
annexation, Northwesterly 1,341 feet more or less to
the intersection thereof with the southerly right-of-
way line of Pacheco Pass Highway; thence along the last
said line, northwesterly 709 feet more or less and
120 feet more or less to the intersection with the north-
easterly line of Pacheco Pass Highway No. 70-6 Annexa-
tion; thence along the northeasterly line of Pacheco
Pass Highway No. 70-6 and No. 77~7 Annexations, south-
easterly 1,936 feet more or less to the point of begin-
ning and
CONTAINING THEREIN 25.004 acres of land more or less, and
WHEREAS, said premises so annexed to the City of Gilroy
were at the time of such annexation, included in and formed a part
of the Gilroy Rural Fire District, and the Council of the City of
Gilroy desires that said territory so annexed be withdra~m from
said fire protection district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said territory here-
inbefore described and so annexed to the City of Gilroy as "PACHECO
PASS ANNEXATION 79-2 TO THE CITY OF GILROY" be and the same is
hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1979, bv the fo1-
